This Travelers Rest subdivision is not to be confused with its distant sister community of Glastonbury, a small town in Somerset, England, with a history steeped in tales of the Holy Grail and King Arthur. Here, street names the likes of Faust Place, Chalice Hill Lane and Feversham Court are the only similarities in this modern day enclave of Glastonbury Village.
The pretty setting bordering the Enoree River offers lovely Blue Ridge Mountain views and offers peaceful respite at the end of a long day. Before dinner you'll still have time for a quick walk on the local trails, or cast your rod in the community fishing pond.
Real estate in Glastonbury Village includes one and two-story contemporary homes - ideally priced for that new family, or empty nester. Exteriors feature vinyl siding with stone accents and large decks overlooking expansive, private yards. Homes set on the fringe of the subdivision have thick wooded borders and water views.
A commuters paradise, Glastonbury Village is close to major roads, and only 20 minutes to downtown Greenville. Just down the road is the rapidly growing town of Travelers Rest with several small businesses, specialty shops and major retail outlets such as WalMart Supercenter.
The ever popular Paris Mountain State Park with miles of hiking trails is just ten short minutes away.
