Boasting a pristine natural environment, Harness is definitely a community to consider. A large portion of the land in this community is in a trust and, thus, protected from any commercial development that is not in the interest of the community. That leaves about 15 miles of bike trails, nice hiking opportunities and natural space to lounge and enjoy the outdoors. There’s even an open-air farmer’s market that’s held once a month with live entertainment!

Spalding Farm

If you’re looking for an even more luxurious option, there’s the upscale community of Spaulding Farm. This area is in high demand and is one of the oldest communities in Greenville, SC. Homes here usually have a Kentucky horse farm style design with land sizes of half to one acre being the norm. Amenities include playgrounds and tennis, among others.

Sugar Creek

Over on the eastside of Greenville, Sugar Creek is known for its two majestic lakes, multiple parks, and green spaces. It is actually one of the largest communities in the city. There are also excellent walking trails for outdoor activity, as the community is located in the Roger Mountain region.
